My name is Machelle Burgin and I am an acrylic pour artist out of Dallas, TX. Painting became my hobby in 2015 after having emergency surgery to remove an ovarian cyst. In 2020, I started Pigmented Soul which represents “Poetry for Your Eyes”. Since I use an acrylic pouring method, each painting is unique and can tell its own story based on someone’s interpretation. Everyone has a story, and my paintings can represent that story for them. In May 2021, the amazing closest people in my life threw me a surprise birthday party which included displaying my art for sale. It was that moment everyone convinced me that I should be a part of art shows. By October 2021, I participated in my first art show. Since then, I have been a part of Art Overdose, Chocolate and Art Show, Pancakes & Booze Art Show, Lucky Duck Gallery, ArtSpace 111, RTown Studio & Showroom, and vendor events.
